Two Grey Hills Dine' (Navajo) Weaving
Ella Taylor
Natural Wool with Aniline Dyes'
72 x 40 inches (L x W)
Two Grey Hills Weaving/Rug by Master Weaver Ella Taylor. The Weavers in the Two Grey Hills--Toadlena Area are some of the finest weavers in the world. This weaving was collected in the late 1980's. It measures 72” by 40”. This weaving has what we describe as an A/B Side. The Collector left one side up over the years and it faded. That said, I have never seen a Weaving that it is difficult to determine the Sun Fade. Truly a Masterpiece Weaving.
