Collector’s Focus: Outdoor Adventure

After a successful first year in 2024, Western Art Collector’s Outdoor Adventure special section is returning. The section is devoted to popular Western pastimes such as hunting, fishing, canoeing, hiking and backcountry camping. Sometimes referred to as sporting art, these classic outdoor hobbies are popular among collectors, as well as artists who have painted and sculpted these famous adventures into stunning works. This segment of the market is hugely popular and features some truly iconic work, including images from Charles M. Russell, William Herbert “Buck” Dunton, Philip R. Goodwin and many others.
