Cheely and Percy Raban of Great Falls Montana. This episode is one of fifty-one narratives syndicated to some seventy newspapers coast to coast. The “Backtrailing” series, which ran for a year, was assured of success when Russell agreed to illustrate the narratives providing glimpses of the early Northwest and Montana history.
