Buleria is a fast-paced flamenco dance; (also) a piece of lively music for this dance, usually played on the guitar and accompanied by singing. From Spanish bulerías (plural; a corresponding singular form bulería is now also found), the name of a type of Andalusian folk song with a lively rhythm accompanied by clapping, and of a dance performed to this from Spanish regional (Andalusian) bulería, variant of Spanish burlería mockery, trick, deceit, illusion, a fairy tale from burla + -ería.
